Guadalajara, Mexico, October 1, 2026 — Focusun, a leading manufacturer of industrial and commercial ice-making equipment, has achieved a highly successful run at AHR Expo México 2026. The show took place from September 29 to October 1 at Expo Guadalajara.
At Booth 648, Focusun presented a cube ice machine and a 1-ton tube ice machine. By the end of the three days, both machines had been sold to customers in Mexico.
AHR Expo México is hailed as the largest HVACR trade show in Latin America. This year’s edition opened the celebrations for the show’s 30th anniversary and brought together more than 440 exhibiting companies. Moreover, the program covered air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, controls and related technologies, alongside a technical conference program run by ASHRAE.
For Focusun, the show was a chance to meet buyers face to face and put real equipment in front of them. Instead of bringing a wide catalog, the team chose two machines that answer everyday ice needs in food service, hospitality and food processing. Visitors to Booth 648 could see the machines up close, ask technical questions and talk through their own applications with the Focusun team.
The cube ice machine drew steady traffic from visitors in the restaurant, bar, hotel and beverage trades. Cube ice is a common choice for drinks, display and general food-service use. Visitors looked closely at ice shape, consistency, daily output and how easily the machine fits into a working kitchen or bar area.
The 1-ton/day tube ice machine attracted a different group of buyers. Tube ice is hollow, uniform and widely used where clean, food-grade ice is needed in larger quantities. Visitors from food processing, beverage production and ice supply businesses spent time on capacity, installation requirements, power use and maintenance. Several asked how a tube ice machine could fit into an existing production line or a small ice-selling business.
Both machines stood out because buyers could see them in person. Looking at a machine on the floor, rather than reading a data sheet, helped visitors judge build quality and ask practical questions on the spot.
By the end of the show, both machines on the Focusun booth had been sold, with both going to Mexican customers. For the team, this was the clearest sign that the products matched real local demand. Buyers were not only collecting information. They came with specific needs and were ready to make a decision at the show.
“Selling both machines at the show is a result we are proud of, and it tells us the Mexican market is looking for reliable ice-making equipment,” said [Tony Yu, Vice President], Focusun. “The conversations were practical from the first day. Visitors wanted to talk about capacity, installation and after-sales support, and that is exactly the kind of discussion we hope to have with customers.”
Beyond the two machines that were sold, the exhibition produced a number of follow-up conversations. Visitors also asked about block ice machines, flake ice machines and complete ice-production systems, which Focusun supplies as well. Some were interested in larger-capacity projects, such as ice plants for food factories and ice-selling businesses. Others wanted to know more about ice storage options to go with their ice machines.
The Focusun team is now following up with every contact made at the show. In most cases, the first step will be a closer look at the buyer’s daily ice demand, the type of ice needed, available space and power supply, so the right machine and capacity can be recommended. That approach reflects how Focusun works with customers: start with the application, then match the equipment.
Warm weather, a growing food and beverage sector, expanding hotel and restaurant networks and the need to keep fresh food cold along the supply chain all drive demand for dependable ice. AHR Expo México gives equipment suppliers a direct line to the engineers, contractors, distributors and end users who make these purchasing decisions. For Focusun, the strong response confirms that attending regional shows in person is worth the effort, and that buyers value suppliers who bring real machines and real answers.
Focusun thanks everyone who visited Booth 648 and placed orders at AHR Expo México 2026. The team will keep following up with the contacts made in Guadalajara, and the next show is already on the calendar.
This November, Focusun will exhibit at IAAPA Expo 2026 in Orlando, Florida, the attractions industry’s biggest annual gathering. At Booth W1829, the company will present two machines for snow and winter attractions: the Snow Falling Machine and the New-Generation Supercooled-Water Snow Maker. Both are designed for theme parks, indoor snow parks and other venues that want dependable snow effects for their guests.
Visitors are welcome to see the machines up close and talk through their projects with the Focusun team. After IAAPA, Focusun plans to join further international exhibitions as it grows its presence in Mexico and other markets.
