Description

The Focusun brine block ice machine is a traditional and reliable ice production system that uses salt water (brine) as a heat exchange medium. It is an ideal solution for large-scale industrial ice production, particularly in ports, fisheries, and tropical environments.

If you require a brine-type block ice machine with a daily output of more than 15 tons, you will need to build a brine tank and install an overhead crane in your factory. Don’t worry—Focusun engineers will provide you with a free design solution tailored to your actual site conditions.


In addition, the ice molds used in brine-type block ice machines are quite unique. To facilitate the quick release of ice blocks after the freezing process, the molds are typically designed in a tapered shape—wider at the top and narrower at the bottom.

There are two main materials available for the ice molds:

  • Food-grade stainless steel 304
  • Galvanized steel

Equipping your ice factory with a cold storage room is essential. Once the ice blocks are produced, they are typically transported to the cold room for proper storage.
