Description

The direct cooling block ice machine freezes water by using specially engineered aluminum plates that act as the evaporator. Inside these hollow, extruded aluminum modules, refrigerant travels upward through internal channels. As the cold refrigerant circulates, it directly removes heat from the water in each mold, allowing the water to solidify into clear, hard ice blocks.

This type of block ice machine is built as a compact, self-contained system, making it very straightforward to install and easy to relocate when needed. Its design meets modern environmental standards by reducing complexity and eliminating unnecessary systems. Instead of relying on traditional water-cooled condensers, the unit typically operates with air-cooled or evaporative cooling solutions, which simplifies maintenance and saves resources.

For users who require greater efficiency, the system can also be customized with an automatic ice-ejection mechanism. This optional feature allows the finished ice blocks to be pushed out quickly and cleanly, minimizing manual handling and improving overall productivity.
