In 2016, focusun successfully delivered four container-cooled block ice machines to a customer in the Middle East. Each unit, built into a standard 40 'container, has a daily production capacity of 20 tonnes and has a ready-to-use design that ensures fast deployment, stable performance and easy operation. The customer, dedicated to seafood cold chain and industrial cooling services, needed equipment able to withstand high ambient temperatures and demanding environmental conditions.
To meet the challenges of the middle eastern climate, such as the intense heat, high humidity and salinity, focusun customized the machines with sus304 food grade stainless steel ice molds, corrosive outer coatings, improved condensation systems and intelligent PLC based controls. The direct cooling system eliminates the need for saltwater, offering greater efficiency, easier maintenance and energy savings compared to traditional brine systems.
