10 Ton Tube Ice Machine with Cold Storage in Nigeria
Case Details
Focusun successfully delivered a 10-ton daily output tube ice machine along with a 15-ton capacity cold storage unit for a food processing company based in Lagos, Nigeria. The solution was designed to meet the client’s demand for stable ice production and storage in the region’s hot and humid climate, supporting local cold chain operations.

The tube ice machine, developed by Focusun, produces crystal-clear, hygienic ice with a 28mm diameter, ideal for beverages, seafood preservation, and commercial use. The system is equipped with Bitzer compressors (Germany), Danfoss expansion valves (Denmark), and Siemens PLC control system (Germany) to ensure reliable performance and high energy efficiency even in challenging West African conditions.

The accompanying cold storage unit features polyurethane insulation panels, energy-efficient air coolers, and an intelligent temperature control system. The storage temperature is consistently maintained between -10°C and -20°C, allowing for long-term preservation of ice.

All equipment was pre-assembled and tested at the factory before shipment. On-site installation and commissioning took only 10 days, enabling the client to begin production quickly without the need for complex construction.

Since going operational, the system has significantly improved the client’s in-house ice production capacity, reduced dependence on external suppliers, and ensured reliable, year-round supply—earning strong praise from the customer.
